Sunny Bear Rescue, founded in June 2024, is a non-profit organization based in Partlow, Virginia. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate dogs, especially those from puppy mills and high-kill shelters, and find them loving forever homes.

We began as Sunny Bear Homestead, focusing on homemade products and community partnerships. In 2022, our passion for rescuing dogs led us to officially establish Sunny Bear Rescue.

We operate with a small network of foster homes and rely on community support to fund our efforts. Our goal is to expand our reach and impact, providing medical care, socialization, and love to every animal we rescue. We also promote responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering.
