Country Road Animal Rescue was started in 2014 by to working moms who couldn’t understand why their county had no animal control. We are located in the second largest county in the state of Tennessee. But unfortunately our county had no resources for all the abandoned and neglected dogs. So we started fostering in our homes and sending adults and puppies up north. Along the way we helped individuals with spay/neuter, dog houses, and kennels. Even provided assistance with emergency vet care. We now foster dogs, cats, puppies and kitten. We also now provide 100% free spay/neuter assistance to all residents in our county for them. We believe the only way to get a handle on the overwhelming overpopulation in the south is with free spay/neuter programs. We appreciate your support. We are 💯% nonprofit. We have NO paid employees and run totally on donations. Our volunteers are still full time employees at their regular jobs then volunteers at our rescue. They give up a lot of time with their families to provide for all these abandoned and neglected animals in our county.
